Your sky stays on your device

Afterglow does not collect personal data. This page explains exactly what the game and this website do. Effective 9 September 2026.

The game

Afterglow, the iOS and Android app, does not collect, store, or send any personal data. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no crash reporting that leaves your phone.

Everything the game remembers, including your flights, scores, constellations, palettes, and settings, is saved in the app's own storage on your device. It is never uploaded. Deleting the app deletes it. You can also clear it yourself from settings with Reset weave.

The game does not need an internet connection and does not contact our servers. It asks for no permissions: no location, no contacts, no photos, no microphone, no notifications.

When you share your Skyloom, the game renders an image and hands it to your phone's share sheet. Where it goes from there is your choice. We never receive a copy.

This website

If you enter your email in the launch form, we store that address and the page you entered it on so we can send you one email when the game is available. If you write to us through the support form, we keep your message and address only to reply. We do not sell either, share them, or add you to anything else.

We advertise the game on Google, so the site can count when a visit leads to someone opening the App Store listing. That measurement uses cookies set by Google Ads and tells Google that a visit turned into a tap; it does not send your name, email, or any other personal detail, and it is only used to see which ads are worth running. Google explains how it handles this data in its business privacy notice.

Where consent is required, the measurement runs only if you accept it, and nothing from Google loads before you decide. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time through at the bottom of any page.

To have your address removed at any time, ask through the support form.

Children

Because the game collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children. It contains no mature content, no chat, and no links out.

Changes

If any of this changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. Questions about it belong on the support page.
